YEAR ESTABLISHED: 1978
ICA was originally founded to provide claims management systems design and implementation for the insurance community and for self-insured organizations. One of our specializations at that time was providing mechanisms for claims fraud detection and prevention. Our operations were later expanded to include licensed independent adjusting services. We then expanded again in 1984 with the addition of general risk management, loss control, claims administration, and independent claims auditing services. Today, we are providing a full range of services to insurance companies, public entities and corporations in several states. Unlike many firms that purposefully set out to acquire an ever-growing roster of clients, Insurance Consulting Associates, Inc. has made a corporate decision to emphasize superior work product and responsive allegiance to a limited number of clients. We elect to respond to only a portion of the Requests for Proposals that we receive. The success of our approach has led to our being honored three years, 1987, 1988 and 2001, by INC. Magazine, which included us in its prestigious INC. 500 listing of America's fastest growing privately-held companies. In addition, we were honored by Resolution of the California State Assembly twice for our "pioneering efforts and leadership in the insurance industry". The accomplishments mentioned above are in large part attributable to our unique service niche in claims administration.
